What is Movement Therapy?

Movement therapy involves using exercises and techniques of Spacial Dynamics® (one’s relationship to space involving specific forms of movement) in a therapeutic setting, usually one-on-one.  Doctors prescribe specific exercises for patients, and Michael teaches and coaches the patient to execute them.

Some skills focus on a certain types of stretching, or help with balance, mental focus or expansion of one’s spacial awareness.  The overall goal is to increase ease in movement and promote health.

Michael continues doing Movement Therapy for clients at the Rudolf Steiner Health Center Retreats in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

"Michael has always been engaging, encouraging and supportive of the process for our patients and we are very appreciative of the movement understanding the patients.
